How to set lighting in Lightwave 6.5

How to set lighting in Lightwave 6.5

To set lighting in Lightwave 6.5

Step 1

If you would like to set lighting in the Lightwave 6.5, after the texture has been set, you need to set some lighting in the room. Normally using area light for room environment is ideal, but due to the slow rendering process, we try other light method that is point light.

Step 2

Press shift (L) to select light panel and then press P to bring out the light properties panel.

Step 3

Now configure the setting base on your choice and the mood that you want. After that, position the light in the way that you want it to be. If your have a powerful computer, you can also use radiosity light to where it can create a realistic environment (very slow rendering process).

At the same time, you need to set the Ambient intensity to 0 for more accurate environment mood setting.

Step 4

Once you set out the lighting, you can do a render testing by pressing F9. After the testing, choose save all objects and save your scenes.

Step 5

Render could take a lot of time, and it depends on your setting of light and camera. If the lighting if fine, then you can proceed to adjust the camera.

Step 6

That is the testing resulting, maybe your scenes would be different and it all depends on your configuration.
