To set camera

Step 1

You could set your camera base on the angle that you want. You could also move or rotate your camera simply by pressing shift C to select camera.

Step 2

Once you already set your camera, you could choose the camera properties by pressing P. In the camera properties, you can set the resolution panel by the size of your movie or picture that can be rendered out

Step 3

Later, leave others to the default and Antialiasing must be set to low.

Step 4

After you have set up the camera, now you can set the render option for advance setting.

Step 5

In the render panel, pull out the configure panel.

Step 6

In the render option pallete, if your scenes are animated, you can set the render frame from 0 to the last frame that you set for your animation. This is just a still picture and you just have to leave it as default.

Step 7

Next, you need to enable the Show Rendering in Progress if you want to see the rendering but it takes much longer time to render. In render mode, choose image viewer so that you can save your rendered images.

Step 8

Then, leave all the other setting on (shadow, Reflection, Refraction, Extra Ray Trace Optimization). Later, you can render your image by pressing F9 again.

Step 9

Now you can save you image in any format that you like.

Step 1

If you would like to set lighting in the Lightwave 6.5, after the texture has been set, you need to set some lighting in the room. Normally using area light for room environment is ideal, but due to the slow rendering process, we try other light method that is point light.

Step 2

Press shift (L) to select light panel and then press P to bring out the light properties panel.

Step 3

Now configure the setting base on your choice and the mood that you want. After that, position the light in the way that you want it to be. If your have a powerful computer, you can also use radiosity light to where it can create a realistic environment (very slow rendering process).

At the same time, you need to set the Ambient intensity to 0 for more accurate environment mood setting.

Step 4

Once you set out the lighting, you can do a render testing by pressing F9. After the testing, choose save all objects and save your scenes.

Step 5

Render could take a lot of time, and it depends on your setting of light and camera. If the lighting if fine, then you can proceed to adjust the camera.

Step 6

That is the testing resulting, maybe your scenes would be different and it all depends on your configuration.

If you would like to map texture on the objects, the first thing you need to do is to use texture mapping. You need to open the surfaces editor.

Then, on the surface editor, enter the following setting or your preferred setting:

First create point’s base on the shape of the jug that you want.

Now, you need to press + to select and right click the mouse to set the point.

Once the point has been set, just press Ctrl P to close the point.

Then you just need to use Lathe tool to close the polygon.

Once you have selected the Lathe tool, follow the setting below.

Now, you need to save it and give it a Name. Then, you must copy it and paste another one in layer 2 and after that, leave it as ghost layers.

Next, you need to size and move your objects so that it should look like the above. Later, just select Boolean or just press Shift B and select subtract in the Boolean panel.

Finally, just press Q to show the surfaces and give it a name and save.
